Man who claims he is Charles and Camilla’s secret son shares picture ‘proof’

An Australian who claims he is Prince Charles and Camilla’s secret lovechild says he has ‘proof’ he is their son.

Grandad Simon Dorante-Day was conceived in 1965, when the Prince of Wales was just 17 and the Duchess of Cornwall, 18.

The father-of-nine was born in the UK but was adopted by a family who he says had strong royal ties.

He suggests his adoptive grandparents Winifred and Ernest both worked for the Queen and Prince Philip in the 60s.

The 55-year-old made the bizarre claims after Charles and Camilla did not responded to his letters.

He’s even filed papers in a bid to force the royals to take a DNA test but he has still been ignored and says he won’t stop there.

Now living in Queensland, Australia he has shared a picture comparing his son Liam to the Queen when she was in her 20s .

Mr Dorante-Day was “blown away” when he first saw the snaps side-by-side and claims the photo is evidence he is telling the truth.

He strongly believes Charles and Camilla are his parents, and the pair had him when they were teenagers.

So convinced is he that he has been to the Australia’s High Court to fight his case, having failed with three previous legal attempts to prove his claims, according to The Daily Mail.

He today told 7 News : “My grandmother, who had worked for the Queen, told me outright that I was Camilla and Charles’ son many times.

“We owe it to our children for them to have answers.

“We have some exciting new legal paths that we’re looking at to uncover the truth.

“At the end of the day, I’m just a man who’s looking for his biological parents – and every road takes me to Charles and Camilla.”

The engineer believes his ‘truth’ would never have been revealed if it wasn’t for the death of Princess Diana in 1997.

“We believe that Diana knew of my existence and that she had put the pieces together,” he said.

“I think Diana was at a point where she was finding out answers about her life, how she was wronged, and she was going to go public with it.”

Mr Dorante-Day was born in Gosport, Hampshire, in 1966 when Charles and Camilla would have been in their late teens – several years before they are believed to have first met at a polo match in 1970.

Charles and Camilla married in 2005.
